A Financial Partner, Not Just a Service

I started Shaya Lehman Accounting & Financial Services because I kept seeing the same problem: small business owners were being underserved. They'd call their accountant and get a voicemail. They'd receive reports they didn't understand. They were paying for a service that never felt like anyone actually cared about their success.

I built this firm around a different philosophy. Your accounting should feel simple, responsive, and genuinely focused on your goals — not just your compliance. My job is to handle the financial side of your business so you can focus on actually running it.

Behind the Spreadsheets

There's a real person behind every balance sheet. Here's a little about who that is.

I discovered I loved accounting as a kid, sitting at my great-grandmother's kitchen table balancing her checkbook. Something about it just clicked — and that feeling never went away. I went on to earn both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Accounting, but the passion started long before any classroom. Outside of work, you'll usually find me planning my next trip (I'm equally at home on a long road trip with no set itinerary as I am booking a flight somewhere new abroad), sewing, or completely losing my mind over baby goats. I think the same things that make me good at this work — patience, attention to detail, and genuinely caring how things turn out — show up everywhere else in my life too. And yes, if you send me a photo of a baby goat, I will respond immediately.
